Laura Kindell, M.Ed., NCC

Therapist - Franklin

Laura is passionate about creating a compassionate and collaborative therapeutic space where clients can receive support as they pursue their treatment goals, healing, and holistic wellness. Laura’s therapeutic approach is rooted in trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and a person-centered humanistic perspective. She incorporates aspects of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, strengths-based therapy, parts work, and attachment theory, among others.

Laura approaches each client with kindness, curiosity, and humility. Her clinical interests include anxiety-related disorders, depression, trauma, perfectionism, identity issues, as well as issues related to family of origin, emerging adulthood, and student-athlete mental health. Laura has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and competitive athletes; advocating for accessible mental health care; and engaging sensitively with individuals of all backgrounds.

Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University and obtained a Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Vanderbilt University. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) by the National Board for Certified Counselors and is pursuing licensure as an LPC MHSP.
